There will be 6 different divisions of the Spooktacular Costume Contest.  
No need to pre-register to be judged, just show up on time.

Infant and Tot division  0 - 5 years old 

3rd Place $25, 2nd Place $50, 1st Place $100

Kids Division  6 years old - 12 years old

FOR ALL THE PREVIOUS CATEGORIES

Rules:  Put together a creative, spooky, funny or imaginative costume and wear it on your body. 

All costumes are welcomed; it doesn't make any difference if they are homemade,

magically found, simply appear with a flick of a wand

or even purchased or rented. 

However, please keep your costume “G” rated this is a family event.  

If you have already won in a previous year with a fabulous costume, leave that costume at home,

you cannot enter with the same costume again.  

Just simply create a new costume and then you can enter every year.

You must be between 0 - 100 years old and not be dead.  However, you MUST have a pulse.
If you appear to be dead that is OK          
Pets need to bring with them a person, a Pooper Scooper or a Litter Box

Group/Family Division is 3 or more people of any ages or species.

All members must be human, humanoid, animals or even creatures.   

The group costumes must create a theme such as;

the members of your favorite singing group or

all the characters in your favorite movie/TV show.

Get creative with the teamwork.

That's enough for rules, right?

Costumes will be judged per division starting at 5:30 pm, but the party starts at 5:00pm. 

Come at 5:00pm to have some fun first, don’t be a party-pooper.  

There are games to play and food to eat. Don't make me eat it all!! <wink>

SO HERE, IS WHAT, IS GOING TO HAPPEN

The first division will be called up to the judging area;

 and asked to LINE-UP in the roped off area. 

Stand-up straight and tall, or hunched over, standing on stilts or even lying in a coffin,

whatever it takes to make your costume look the best to the judges. 

Everyone will parade through the roped off area in front of the judges.  

If you can't walk, or wobble when you walk, that's ok.;

you will be placed in the standing only area next to the judges to be judged. 

Everyone go ahead and howl, growl, wink, wiggle or screech at the judges, 

but no touching, poking or bribing the judges.   

Each judge will hand out golden tickets to what they feel are the best costumes.

If you receive a golden ticket you are a finalist Wa-Hoo! 

The golden ticket holders will

go to the standing only area to be judged a second time.

This is the time to look sharp the judges, they are making their final decision.

THIS IS THE EXCITING PART 

Our MC (Dave) will first announce the 3rd place winner first, then the 2nd place winner. 

....and then.....and then....Dave will announce the 1st place winner. YEAH. YEAH!!

The winners will come to the stage and be handed their trophy and cash. 

If you cannot grasp your trophy and cash because your costume does not have hands,

please bring a set of hands or a person with you. 

CONGRATULATIONS!  

Rinse and repeat for the next 5 divisions.

WAIT THERE'S MORE....So don't go anywhere...
